Do you like to have your feet in production and your head in the planning? Do you keep an overview while the flowers roll off the conveyor belt? Then we are looking for you! A client in Hillegom and Roelofarendsveen is looking for a decisive Production Site Manager who, together with colleagues, will ensure that everything runs smoothly - from order to delivery.

Your responsibilities include:

During the tulip season (December through May), production runs at full speed. Together with your fellow site manager, you make sure the right people are in the right place, the machines are running and the flowers go out the door on time.

• Coordinates daily production and manages employees
• Creates clear daily and weekly schedules (for permanent, flex and possibly students)
• Keeps track of busy times and jumps in when needed
• Identifies bottlenecks and comes up with smart solutions
• Steers for quality, pace and cooperation
• Supervises new employees and motivates the team
• Contributes to process improvement and innovation
• Works closely with Mark, the colleague who leads and coordinates all production

In the summer months, production is quieter. Then you work more on projects, such as improving processes, optimizing your team effort or streamlining machines and workstations.
