Print operator

Job Description

As a Print Operator at a client, you make sure that online creations become reality. You operate their modern machines in Waddinxveen and print every design razor-sharp on corrugated cardboard.

Your responsibilities include:

• Operate and set up (digital) printing and processing machines for corrugated cardboard.
• Checking order forms and work orders; making sure everything is correct in terms of size, color and material.
• Perform proofs and monitor quality (sharpness, color, resolution).
• Initial maintenance of the machines and safely resolve minor malfunctions.
• Ensure that all materials (ink, sheets, pallets) are ready and waste is avoided.
• Thinking along on how to make processes smarter and faster.

Who are we looking for?

• MBO work and thinking level, preferably in Graphic Engineering or Operator/Production Engineering.
• 1-3 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment (experience with printers or graphic machinery is a plus).
• Technical understanding and dexterity with computers; you work accurately and quality-oriented.
• You are fit enough for standing work and can safely handle materials and machinery.
• Good command of the Dutch language.
• Willingness to work shifts (if applicable).
