Logistics operator

Job Description

As Warehouse / Logistics Operator You are responsible for efficiently and safely managing goods within our client's warehouse in Nootdorp. You will ensure that incoming and outgoing goods are correctly received, stored, picked and dispatched. Together with your colleagues, you will contribute to an organized, safe and well-functioning logistics operation.

What will you do?

• Receiving, checking and recording incoming goods.
• Store and organize products in the warehouse according to proper procedures.
• Order picking and packing of goods according to specifications and quality requirements.
• Perform inventory checks and identify discrepancies.
• Loading and unloading trucks using internal transport equipment.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet trucks (if authorized).
• Ensure a neat, safe and orderly work environment.
• Correctly process administrative documents surrounding inventory and shipping.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other departments for a smooth logistics process.
• Thinking about improvements in warehouse processes and practices.

Who are we looking for?

• MBO working and thinking level (degree not required).
• Experience in a warehouse or logistics position.
• Basic computer skills (for inventory and administration processing).
• Accurate, motivated and physically able to perform warehouse work.
• You can work well together and maintain an overview in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations is a plus.
• In possession of forklift / reach truck certificate.
