At our client in the meat industry, you will have the opportunity to play a key role within the Technical Service Department, active at both locations of the company. This department is essential to keeping the production process running smoothly day and night. In your role as a Mechanical Mechanic, you will be involved in various departments within the organization. It is a versatile position that requires you to perform well under pressure. In case of any malfunctions, you will be the one who is quickly on site to fix them efficiently and professionally. You bring current technical knowledge and can work independently, under the supervision of the Team Leader. The working atmosphere is informal, within an operational and logistical environment.

Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing installations of mechanical equipment.
• Assemble mechanical parts into complete structures based on instructions and drawings.
• Testing, adjustment and troubleshooting of assembled components.
• Troubleshoot repairs, preventive maintenance and perform minor engineering projects and modifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures.
• Streamlined operations with automated maintenance systems and software packages.
• Work in a 3-shift schedule and report to the Team Leader TD.

Who are we looking for?

• Someone with a completed MBO level 3/4 education in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering, ideally with experience as a Mechanical Mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
• Someone with a driver's license B and own transportation.
• A flexible, solution-oriented and communicatively strong candidate with a proactive attitude.
• Someone who is meticulous and quality conscious.
• Willingness to take additional training courses.
